  7. Since I run almost every day and sit at a desk all day long for work, there isn’t a week that goes by that I don’t have an issue with my hip flexors.     I have sat and read through your website about hip flexors and their importance on how they can affect your everyday life… This is great information and the part I enjoyed reading the most was how static stretching itself is not enough. I always thought that static stretching was not sufficient for many reasons. With the explanation on how static training may not be enough for the tight hip flexors, this helped identify how we need to stretch in ways that we usually don’t stretch in to really untighten those hip flexor areas. Thank you for listing these stretches and I will make sure I start stretching my hip flexors because they are as important as other muscles being used everyday!

  11. This is very interesting to me because I write for a living, which means sitting far more than is good for my body. I make a point to get up and move around at least 5-10 minutes for every hour that I work, but I never thought about my hip flexors. The idea of opening them through exercise is quite interesting!
